Commercial Water Services

1. The availability of the water volume & pressure that the local water supplier (authority) can provide at peak demand. The amount will vary in each area and with each water authority.  
2. The type and use of the building
3. The amount of persons within the building and its confines
4. The Fire regulations
5. Consent must be sought from the local water supplier

Districts with Low volumes of water. may require these items,

• Storage Cisterns
• Pumps
• Pressure Reducing valves
• Non-return valves
• Sluice valves
• Washout points

The valves, pipes, fittings & installation must conform to the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme.

On-site soil samples will need to be provided to determine the type of pipe material required to eliminate potential contamination of the water supply.

The Water Business Ltd is affiliated to the Water Industry Approved Plumbers Scheme (W.I.A.P.S) and as such, can provide certification of completed systems.

All pipe sizes above 50mm in diameter must be pressure tested, cleansed, flushed and the water sampled for analysis before the connection to a water authority pipe can be made.  This service will be included in any work carried out by The Water Business Ltd and full certification provided.
